Background and objectives: Particularly explicit sexual seduction and the possible involvement of psychopathological conditioning factors is addressed. Method: Original contribution based on a synthetic narrative ad-hoc review. A synopsis of the relevant published scientific findings on that subject is presented. The number of selected references is n= 64. Results: In more sexualised seduction, behaviour is regulated by interlocking subcortical and cortical brain structures. Seduction is mobilised on the basis of desire, assuming that sexual attraction is physiological, while seduction is ritualistic. Endocrine factors and genetic physical abnormalities exist that may undermine the uniquely sexualised seductive capacity. The possible influences of various mental disorders, certain conditions linked to sexual health and some problems associated with interpersonal relationships are indicated. Lastly, various biological and pharmacological intermediations in seduction with sexualised behaviours are discussed. Conclusions: Seduction, which most likely differs neurophysiologically according to its organic condition and gender, is not a uniquely cultural or social phenomenon. Psychopathology can have a powerful influence on all those involved.

Schizophrenia is a complex mental disorder whose wide range of symptoms are often grouped into so-called positive (delusions and hallucinations), negative (lack of motivation and emotional blunting), and disorganization (mainly incoherence of speech) syndromes. A developmental element in the origin for the disorder is widely accepted, in the sense that people who develop the disorder show subtle changes in early life and childhood. Brain structural changes, including a 2-3% reduction in brain volume, are another well-established finding in schizophrenia. These structural changes are believed to have a partial developmental origin, as they are present at the onset of the illness and potentially even before. However, attempts to link these brain structural changes to specific symptoms have had limited success.

COMMUNITY APPROACH IN MENTAL HEALTH AND FUNCTIONAL DIVERSITY (DF), FROM THE RECOVERY MODEL

The article describes how the evolution has been in the mental health care (SM) of people with Functional Diversity (FD) at the Benito Menni CASM Center in Sant Boi, since they are treated there, based on the SM recovery model, to specifically describe the recent specialized community program, launched in December 2022 and aimed at people with FD who present with SM problems.

The presentation and evolution of mental illness in psychogeriatrics typically differ from those in other stages of life. The clinical characteristics, psychological changes, and socio-familial impact require more specialised care for these patients, which should be provided in dedicated units by professionals from various disciplines.

The demographic change, which was already predicted in the 1980s, forces the healthcare and social system to alter its response to users and professionals who have a reality different from that of more than 40 years ago. This forces the optimization of resources, moving from a reactive global system to a much more proactive one, where the individuals served play a decisive role in decision-making, with the principle of autonomy prevailing over others, when it comes to a competent person to decide.

Delusions, defined as false beliefs that are held with firm conviction despite evidence to the contrary, are among the most characteristic and troubling symptoms of schizophrenia. The search for their neurobiological origins has produced several theories, one of the most influential being the aberrant salience hypothesis. This theory, links delusions to irregular dopamine function. Specifically, it argues that excess dopamine activity leads the brain to assign undue importance, or salience, to otherwise neutral stimuli. It is known that salience is attributed to stimuli in the environment by means of so called reward prediction error (RPE) signaling, the brain’s mechanism for signaling when an outcome is better or worse than expected.

EDUCASEX- BIOGRAFIAS SEXUADAS 2013-2024

The work below shows the specific intervention in sexuality that is carried out with men and women with mental health problems who are users of the different psychosocial rehabilitation facilities where the program is done.  Although the principles of normalization and integration are not in question when designing interventions for individuals with disabilities, their application to the sexual domain of individuals with mental health problems remains uncommon, requiring the development of effective interventions.

Usually the people belive that the mental illness is relate with the artistc ability

The studies explain that everybody has creative ability. The mental illness can interfere in this ability, because it is better in the mental stability periods.

On the other hand, the mental illness can be related with the imagine and magic thoughts and these abilities usually are inhibited by the social and education conventions.
